Edible Beauty HQ

The aim of this project was to redesign The Schumacher building, located in New York into a company headquarters for the Australian based company Edible Beauty. Edible Beauty is a cosmetic brand that is so natural and “so good you can eat it”, they offer a wide range of pure, ethical and cruelty free skincare products and herbal teas! While researching the company's identity along with extensive experimentation of concepts I was able to create a colour scheme that tied in not only with the company’s ‘image’ but also with the dynamic and vibrant culture of New York City. The overall design was influenced by the complex pattern left on the skin once a face mask is applied then dried. The Headquarters is not just a just a place of work. The first three floors are open to the public, with access to the Tea Room, Retail Departments, Restaurant and Treatment Rooms. This allows for individuals to test out the cosmetic products and herbal teas before purchasing them. The HQ takes them on a journey of the brand and allows people to not only socialise and shop but to also relax and immerse themselves in what Edible Beauty has to offer.
