Fret Flow

Fret Flow is an all-inclusive guitar learning device. It can be retrofitted to any full sized acoustic or electric guitar. The device consists of three LED strip modules, which sit on the fret board of the guitar, covering 14 frets. These LED lights illuminate to show the user where they should place their fingers. The device connects to a phone app via Bluetooth. Within the app, the user can choose between learning songs, taking lessons, tuning their guitar and many other features. The app will monitor the user’s performance through the phone’s speaker, and provide feedback so that the user can improve. Online scoreboards allow users to compete with each other. The lessons will work similarly to video games. The user will have to attain a certain score in a lesson to unlock more. This will also make the user take lessons in all aspects of guitar learning.
