O-Shirt

The O-Shirt is a SMART clothing designed to detect incorrect lifting technique in the gym. Learning new exercises can be difficult to master for beginners so this product tells a user when a mistake is being made with a lifting exercise. The SMART clothing focuses on detecting flex in the lower back and becoming a fashionable product to be used by gym beginners. If a user lifts in the gym with the incorrect technique the PCB casing at the front of the body will vibrate. The product works by using an accelerometer and gyroscope sensor to detect movement and flex in the back is detected by using a fabric flex sensor that uses a flex-sensitive fabric that changes in resistance when bent. The PCB casing is detachable making the clothing washable and once the casing is reattached with the magnetic snaps the circuit is then complete and the O-Shirt is ready to be used again.
