Photography Series based on Folklore

The aim of this project was to convey the story of The Children of Lir, an authentically Irish folklore tale that explores love, betrayal and witchcraft. These are some of the images from a series of photographs that look at the main characters from the story, King Lir and a witch who betrays him. Through the use of photography and photoshop composting I was able to create dark and haunting images that tell the story.
