Gordon's 250th anniversary labels

2019 will be the 250th anniversary of Gordon’s Gin. Today, Gordon’s is the world’s number one best-selling Gin. Alexander Gordon’s passion for business began to take shape in 1769. He built a distillery in Southwark, London which was well known for its excellent, clean water supply. Then he mastered the art of distilling a gin of high standards that could be trusted and enjoyed by all. As a celebration of the anniversary, I designed a series of four labels to capture the vast history of Gordon's Gin. Each label represents a different century from the 1700s to the present. Gordon's recipe has remained the same since 1769. Gordon's high quality and distinctive juniper flavour have come to define the taste of the classic G&T. To reflect the unchanged recipe each label contains the juniper berry. Each design is based on in-depth research into each century to inform the patterns and characters that feature on the labels.
