Through The Vine

I created this window to entice passersby into Dunnes Stores. I placed a matt pink vinyl on the outside of the window and cut a circle out of the centre to create a clear focal point. I suspended 2D leaves that were cut out using a laser cutter in an array of colours placed in the centre of the circle and the surrounding areas, also using rope and twine sprayed green and dark brown to create the effect of jungle vines. The bright pink vinyl definitely attracted the attention initially as it was clear to see from afar. I dressed my mannequin in the Savida range as I thought it fit best with the target market I was trying to attract, which was the older adolescent and women from 20-30-year-olds. Generally, I wanted my window to inject a pop of colour and add a fun feel to Dunnes Stores.
