When Lil is tormented by young kids playing knick knack, she is paid a visit by her past to remind her to live in the present. This life-affirming and contemplative short film is centred around women’s relationships. In a post-pandemic era, the struggles of disconnection have been emerged as a prevalent issue. This film seeks to explore ways of reconnecting with ourselves and the people around us.
We wished to create a film that explores the importance of remaining present in our daily lives. We hope audiences will connect with our characters, brought to life by our talented cast, as well as the themes each department worked hard to bring through in every aspect of our filmmaking.
