Vertigo Hostel

Bringing activity back into the city centre, this project aims to create a fun and active hostel and hub for adventurous travellers. 33 Sir Rogerson’s Quay is located on the river Liffey, and only a stone’s throw away from Grand Canal Dock, it is a perfect location for a variety of waters sport activities available in Dublin. Offering a two-story rock-climbing wall with views of the waterfront, along with activity zones dotted throughout the building such as pool and table tennis tables, the guests will never be short on things to do.

The design concept derived from the patterns created when a crew of rowers are moving in sync. The streamline nature of rowing allows for unique patterns and linear forms to appear. The linear interiors and the bold colour palette create a vibrant and exciting environment for travellers and guests to enjoy.
