Head Strong tells the story of both amateur and professional ex-rugby players, and their battle with the consequences of concussion. Alix Popham is a former Wales international, who was diagnosed with early onset dementia following his retirement, while Peter Boyne is a former Leinster Metro Developmental player, who was forced to quit due to repeated head injuries. They talk about the treatment at their clubs, how they have coped, and what needs to be done to change the sport, along with Professor John Fairclough, who helped to develop modern day Sports Medicine in Wales and the UK.
