Bridging Beats: Exploring the Socio-Cultural Pulse of the UK and Ireland’s Musical Entertainment Industry

A strong creative community can have several influences in a society in more ways than one. To fully reap the benefits that occur from the presence of this rich community, it is valuable for societies to pour into these groups of people and create environments for them to flourish. In this study, a comparison between Ireland and the UK was conducted, and the ways in which social bridging has elevated the entertainment industry. Infrastructures play a huge role in accommodating these communities to create an identity within society. Upon examination of the United Kingdom, it was uncovered that through their effective social bridging they have been able to create a vibrant entertainment industry. Through analysing the steps they took to reach this result, their conscious efforts to integrate their growing multicultural population is a key factor to this success. By employing conviviality and skillfully navigating the parallaxes present in its heterogeneous culture, the UK has successfully developed an established creative community that can lead initiatives that promote creative collaboration. This is anoutstanding illustration of a lesson that Ireland may learn from and through analysis, can possibly apply to encourage a comparable degree of creative cohesion within its own cultural environment.
