Doireann Comiskey is in her final year of the BA (Hons) in Drama (Performance) at TU Dublin Conservatoire, graduating in 2025.
Her recent performances include A Day in May (Dir: Veronica Coburn) and Second Person Narrative by Jemma Kennedy, where she played multiple roles including You, Aunt, and Friend (Dir: Andrea Basquille). Other theatre credits include Katzenmusik by Tom Fowler (Dir: Charlotte Tiernan), Bloody Poetry as Harriet Shelley, and The Crucible as Betty Parris and Mercy Lewis (both directed by Sean Corcoran at The Millbank Theatre). She has also performed in Bugsy Malone at the National Concert Hall (Dir: Tony Finnegan).
Screen experience includes the short film Sunphlowers (Dir: Dave Byrne), as well as earlier work in Someone (The Millbank Theatre) and The Late Late Toy Show advertisement (RTÉ).
Doireann holds IDCA certification in unarmed stage combat and has also trained in rapier & dagger. Her movement training includes ballet and contemporary dance. She is a mezzo-soprano and has a range of additional skills including acoustic and electric guitar, basic piano and drums, and practical experience in mixology and barista work.
She speaks fluent Irish, has intermediate French, and basic Irish Sign Language.
