Laura Jones is in her final year of the BA (Hons) in Drama (Performance) at TU Dublin Conservatoire.
Her recent theatre credits include A Day in May (The Newsreader, Dir: Veronica Coburn), Second Person Narrative (Senior, Teacher, Dir: Andrea Basquille), and katzenmusik (The Resident, Viewer, Dir: Charlotte Tiernan). She also appeared as The Narrator in Into the Woods (Dir: Padraig J. Dunne).
On screen, Laura has performed in Shackled (Ingenue Films, Dir: Caoimhe McGrath), I Think We Should Kill Kyle (Dir: Lauritz L. Felskov), and This is Not Gospel (Dir: Vinny Murphy), where she also worked as First AD.
She is trained in unarmed stage combat (IDCA certified) and rapier & dagger, with movement coaching by Ella Clarke. A musical theatre alto, she has trained with Janine Deegan and Lorraine Nolan.
Additional skills include Commedia dell’Arte, Forum Theatre, Theatre in Education, radio drama, and voice acting. She plays intermediate guitar and speaks conversational Spanish. Laura also has a strong facility with accents including RP, American Southern, Cockney, Cork, and Glasgow.
