Oprah T. Otabor

Oprah T. Otabor is a Dublin-based performer currently completing her BA (Hons) in Drama (Performance) at TU Dublin Conservatoire, graduating in 2025.

Stage credits include A Day in May (Fr Joe & multiple roles, Dir: Veronica Coburn), Second Person Narrative (Official, Dir: Andrea Basquille), and katzenmusik (Multiple Roles, Dir: Charlotte Tiernan).

Her screen experience spans film, television, and commercial work, with credits including This is Not Gospel (Dir: Vinny Murphy), Chasing Millions (Santa Woman, Dir: Stephen Burke), Mooju’s 2024 commercial (Dir: Jordyn Mulvey), and a role as an extra in Wednesday (Netflix, Dir: Tim Burton). She also featured in the dance-based photography project Hystera (Dir: Lauren Hamilton, TU Dublin).

Oprah is trained in Rapier & Dagger and unarmed stage combat and has completed dance and movement training under Ella Clarke. She also choreographs independently and has experience in African drumming, piano, flute, and basic drum kit.

Her vocal range is mezzo, and she is experienced in voiceover, camera acting, and modelling. Accents include British RP, American Standard, and Nigerian.

She is passionate about screen acting and film production, with a strong appreciation for character-driven storytelling in cinema. Oprah is an avid movie watcher with a particular interest in contemporary dramas, psychological thrillers, and international films. Having studied psychology for a year, she brings a deeper understanding of human behaviour and motivation to her roles, allowing for more nuanced and empathetic portrayals. She is active in sports, which supports physical awareness and discipline valuable to performance work.
