Úna Florent

Úna Florent is an actor and physical performer with a strong interest in exploring characters through non-traditional, experimental theatrical techniques. Her artistic style is rooted in absurdist and expressionist theatre. Úna is currently completing a BA (Hons) in Drama (Performance) at TU Dublin, following earlier training at The Lir Academy.

Trained in Meisner, Laban, Commedia dell’arte, and stage combat, she brings physical precision and emotional depth to her work. Additional skills include mezzo-soprano singing, piano, voice-over, and swimming instruction.

Stage credits include The Suppliant Women (The Lir), Second Person Narrative, A Day in May (TU Dublin), The Tinker and the Fairy (George Moore Association), and the Prague Quadrennial 2023, where she performed and worked as a movement director. Screen work includes Orla Là, Bloodline Detectives, and Netflix’s Wednesday, directed by Tim Burton.

With a passion for ensemble collaboration, movement-based performance, and poetic text, Úna is committed to exploring challenging and innovative work across both stage and screen.
