Meeting My Grandad is a short film which follows Elliott, a young man with no family, who learns of a deceased grandparent that he never knew about. Lamenting this connection that he never had, he decides to hire an elderly actor to play the part of his grandfather. Exploring the themes of found family, self-discovery, loss, and the healing power of art, this film intimately blends quirky humour and drama to provide a smile – and perhaps, a tear.
