Over the past few years, I have worked in a variety of roles, primarily as a director and a camera operator, specialising in Documentary. I am interested in production, directing, research, and the visual/artistic side of filmmaking. In third year, I went on Erasmus to the Netherlands. I partook in the CampusDoc programme, during which I directed and produced the documentary “De Fietsenman” (The Bikeman). I am very grateful to have won the SVJ Grand Prize 2024 for this documentary. During my time in Campusdoc, I partook in a trip to New York, where I attended classes from industry professionals in the Craig Newmark school of Journalism, CUNY. I made a short documentary about how the organisation Grassroots Grocery was addressing the issue of food insecurity in the Bronx. In my final year in TU Dublin, I directed a short documentary about the history of women’s soccer in Ireland. ded.
