Small Change

Small Change is a heartwarming short film written and directed by Hanaa Janahi. The story follows Mary Jane, an observant little girl who notices her mother's quiet sacrifices for her family and makes it her mission to give her something in return. The story unfolds through the eyes of a child filled with empathy and emerging awareness of adult struggle. After seeing her mother put a purse she adored back on the shelf to prioritise buying baby formula, Mary Jane sets off on an adventure to collect the means to get it for her.
