The Adoration Sisters

This documentary follows the story of The Sisters of Perpetual Adoration, based in Wexford – a community of nuns living in an enclosed order. The sisters marked the 150th anniversary of their presence in Wexford this year. The director of the film, Caoimhe, is the great niece of Mother Superior Sister Peter. In The Adoration Sisters audiences are invited to join Sister Peter, Sister Gabriel, Sister Finbarr and Sister Rosella as they go about their day-to-day lives. Caoimhe is trying to grasp a deeper understanding of the sisters and their unique way of life, hoping that spending some time with them will help her with this.
