I’m Kellie, one of the programmers and writers from The Fellas. I have been fascinated by games and storytelling since I was a child, so as you can imagine that is what led me here. Games have the potential to take any shape or form, they can help us come to terms with the world and ourselves, just like any other story. When it came to making “The Hawkshaw Files,” I aimed to take that and make a heartfelt kind of story, one that focused on ordinary people's lives, troubles, and relationships, even if the stakes are a little more than “ordinary.” It may not be very flashy or particularly grandiose, but I do hope it can be something that can inspire or even just comfort others like many games have done for me.
‘The Hawkshaw Files’ is a point-and-click, narrative-focused visual novel with puzzle elements that follows the story of Detective Hawkshaw, a once renowned member of the Pinkerton Police Department turned private eye. Now his own boss, follow Detective Hawkshaw as he works on a case-by-case basis to solve puzzles, investigate the area, and interrogate relevant parties to uncover the secrets of the small-town Pinkerton in this point and-click puzzle adventure!
