Hi, I’m Stephen, and I love creating unique things, especially innovative game mechanics and new worlds with original characters and languages. Over the past four years, I’ve had the chance to explore these interests in mini projects, which have taken anywhere between a couple of weeks and a few months. Some of the most interesting designs that I have created include a maze game (which only gives auditory cues), a board game version of an existing digital exploration game, and three custom controllers.
I began my game design journey with a great interest in art, maths, science, and architecture. It was only near the end of my first year in college that I began to fall in love with system design, coding, and user interface/input. In my third year, I got the opportunity to create numerous games as a solo developer, as well as practice and refine 3D modelling and animation skills.
For my final year project, I’m working as a solo developer on a procedural baking game (in collaboration with a baker) with a cosy Celtic/Medieval aesthetic.

Patchwork Pastry is a cosy single-player baking game set in a quaint medieval village. Experiment with various ingredients to sell your unique products to the local puppet villagers to gain their friendship. Buy new ingredients and tools from the market to expand your baking potential and explore the surrounding area to recover the missing pages from the recipe book.
Combine ingredients to bake popular recipes including: breads, tarts, macarons, cookies, biscuits, and more. Add your favourite flavours to entice the local villagers with mixed berry scones, raspberry blondies, salted crackers, or whatever combination you want.
