The Gracht Hotel is a high-tech wellness hotel located at Grote Bickersstraat 74, Amsterdam. Inspired by the city’s iconic canals, the design integrates the surrounding water into the building’s architectural concept. The hotel’s structure reflects the fluidity of the water, creating a seamless connection between the building and its natural environment.
A key feature of the interior concept is the use of digital walls, displaying dynamic, high-resolution visuals of water and underwater life. These immersive installations are strategically placed throughout the hotel, enhancing the tranquil atmosphere. The vibrant colors of the water and surrounding environment are reflected in each interior, with different spaces featuring their own distinct color palettes inspired by the dynamic hues of the water and its surroundings. This use of color adds depth and energy to the hotel’s design, further connecting guests to the natural surroundings.
