SeaScape

SeaScape brings the tranquillity of the sea to the busy urban life. This project is an oasis in the heart of Copenhagen, Denmark, in the impressive Royal Danish Playhouse building, and provides guests from near and far with a chance to retreat away from city life and revive themselves with the healing powers of water. SeaScape offers a variety of pools and saunas as well as recreation spaces, treatment spaces and hospitality spaces. The guest rooms offer the users the chance to really retreat away from busy life and be immersed in an overnight experience. The primary objective of this project is to show how designing spaces with the human experience in mind promotes good health and wellness. The conceptual design for the building is drawn from the maritime influences of the area in which it sits. SeaScape offers the community a balance between living in cities and living among nature.
