Georgia Robinson

A 4th Year Student at TU Dublin Grangegorman, born and raised in the idyllic Co. Wicklow on the East Coast. Since I was a young child, I have had a passion for the Arts as well as Design and as I entered my teens, I developed my love for Interiors therefore pursuing a degree in Interior Design here at TU Dublin. Guided by my lecturers I have developed my personal style to what I would consider Opulent with a nod to classic design. I tend to use a variety of dark and moody aesthetics with pops of sleek colours and luxe textures. My style is very much evolving and growing as I mature and discover alternative designers within my field. My Final Year Project perfectly embodies the type of designer I wish to be, bold, classic, and luxurious.

Grand Canal Social Club

For my final project I decided to create an exclusive, member’s only, multi-level, late night venue and hotel. My interests as a budding Designer have always been with the Hospitality Industry and creating spaces which showcase opulence and luxury within this domain. I wanted to design a space that would focus on my style as a designer while also revealing a new and elegant party venue for Dublin City in the expanding landscape of Grand Canal. By combining my personal style with my love for Hospitality design, I managed to create a vibrant Nightclub, a sophisticated Restaurant, a Rooftop Pool and Bar as well as an Entertainment Venue and 3 floors of luxurious Bedrooms.
