The aim of this project was to create a hub for innovators to collaborate on sustainable projects and start-ups in one of Europe’s biggest start-up hubs, Gdansk, Poland. The European Solidarity Centre was chosen to facilitate the Centre for Sustainable Innovation and Education. It is a multi-function building focusing on the development of sustainable practices and the education of the general public on sustainability and sustainable living practices. The building is located very close to the historic Gdansk shipyard and sits on the site where the solidarity movement started in 1980. The building features an interactive exhibition space, event centre, coworking spaces, conference rooms, food court and much more.
