Ciara Smith is a final year student of the Bachelors of Music specialising in performance at TU Dublin Conservatoire, under the tutelage of Mairead Buicke and Aoife O’Sullivan. Ciara regularly performs in concerts and recitals in the conservatoire as part of the operatic society, opera ensemble and stagecraft.
Most recently Ciara played the role of Cleopatra in the Conservatoires production of Giulio Cesare. In August 2025 Ciara looks forward to portraying the role of Mercedes in ‘opera in the open’s production of Carmen as well as performing in a lunchtime recital in the National concert hall.
For the GradX showcase, Ciara will be performing a 45-minute recital alongside Aoife O’Sullivan, that includes German, French and English arts songs as well as Opera Arias.
