Eva Waters

Eva Waters is in her final year studying a Bachelor of Music in singing and pedagogy at the TU Dublin Conservatoire. She is studying under Emmanuel Lawler and Aoife O’Sullivan.

Eva began her musical life when she became a chorister in the St Mary’s Pro-Cathedral Girl’s Choir. During her time in the choir, she received rigorous choral training and was singing music from a broad range of musical periods such as, Gregorian chant, baroque works and contemporary pieces. In 2017, Eva was appointed as the Head Chorister of the St Mary’s Pro-Cathedral Girls’ Choir.

In 2018, Eva became a founding member of Continuum Youth Choir, which is made up of past members of the Palestrina Choir and the St Mary’s Pro-Cathedral Girls’ Choir. With Continuum Youth Choir, Eva has won many competitions and awards in Ireland and throughout Europe. Eva has also sung with the Choir of Christ Church Cathedral and the TU Dublin Chamber Choir.

Eva was accepted onto the Sestina Next Generation Mentoring Programme 2024/2025, which provided her with an immersive singing experience and the opportunity to work with other singers and musical directors.

For the Grad X showcase, Eva will be singing a 30-minute recital alongside Aoife O’Sullivan, performing music from the Baroque period right through to the 20th century contemporary period.
