The Diatag

A Diabetes fitness and management buddy that is worn on the wrist. It works hand in hand with an app to help diabetics healthily meet their fitness goals. The aim is to help diabetics stay in the green with healthier options instead of using insulin and eating foods with high glycaemic index ratings. The device uses haptic vibrations to notify the user of the impending drop or spike in their blood sugar levels. Once they are notified of their impending levels, they will be ecommended in app some healthy alternatives to prevent the critical blood sugar levels. An example of these would be, exercise for lowering blood sugar or eating nuts or fruit to raise blood sugar.
