Agrilite Soil Sensing Device

Due to climate change and incorrect usage of fertiliser by farmers the problem of Algae formation in waterbodies is steadily increasing. Algae suffocate lakes and kill all wildlife within the waterbody. It is toxic to humans and pets, therefore the waterbodies cannot be used recreationally. This has destroyed several people's livelihoods. Agrilite has been created to help prevent algae run off it also reduces costing for farmers and helps achieve a higher grassland yield. Agrilite is a soil sensing device to help aid farmers with fertiliser usage decision-making. The soil nutrient monitor analysis of soil parameters such as nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium which are all essential in grassland growth for livestock farming. Agrilite informs farmers of the amount, location and when to put fertiliser down for optimum absorption and leaching prevention. The user can access the device's user information through the Agrilite app.
