I’m a final year Visual Merchandising & Display student at Technological University Dublin with a strong passion for fashion, creative storytelling and brand experience. My work focuses on combining visual communication with innovative retail concepts to create engaging customer experiences. I’m particularly interested in fashion-focused display, trend-led design and the relationship between space, branding and consumer behaviour. Through my studies and industry placement, I’ve developed skills in concept development, styling, visual presentation and creative problem-solving. I enjoy creating work that is both visually impactful and commercially relevant, with a focus on bringing ideas to life through thoughtful and immersive design.
Guided by Worth Global Style Network (WGSN) trend forecasting for S/S 26, this project explores the “Office Siren” aesthetic through a modern, detail focused approach to styling. I selected and developed a key trim piece, a statement belt, designed and constructed using upcycled ties sourced from charity shops, combining sustainability with craftsmanship. The making process involved carefully assembling and stitching the ties to create a layered, textural accessory that references classic menswear while introducing a contemporary, fashion forward twist.
The final outcome was realised through a self directed photoshoot, where I styled and art directed the look to reflect the forecasted trend. Clean tailoring, sleek hair and refined accessories were used to create a polished yet experimental silhouette. This project demonstrates my ability to translate trend research into design, construction and a fully realised visual concept.
For this project, I designed a high impact window display concept for Roberto Cavalli to promote its Spring/Summer 2026 collection. Inspired by the brand’s iconic use of print, texture and opulence, I developed a series of initial concepts before refining one final design that captured Cavalli’s bold and sensual identity.
The project combined creative and technical processes, from mood boards and concept development to fully realised 3D visualisations using SketchUp. I designed both flagship and roll out window versions, ensuring adaptability across different retail environments. A key aspect of the project was the inclusion of a detailed installation manual, alongside material sourcing and cost analysis, grounding the concept in real world visual merchandising practice. This project highlights my ability to translate brand identity into an engaging physical retail experience through design, styling and spatial awareness.
