As part of my final year work placement at Dunnes Stores Head Office Photo Studio, I directed and styled my major project titled "A Versatile Lifestyle." This concept was inspired by the WGSN Spring/Summer 2025 trend, “The Polycrisis Era,” which highlights the importance of adaptability during uncertain times. The photoshoot focuses on showcasing versatile clothing that effortlessly transitions from in-office to out-of-office wear. Featuring casual yet chic pieces, the collection blends fashion and functionality, allowing individuals to maintain a polished look from 9-to-5 and beyond. These garments offer the perfect mix of professional style and relaxed elegance, catering to those who seek day-to-night flexibility. The shoot captures the modern need for adaptable wardrobes that suit a fast-paced and ever-changing lifestyle. A Versatile Lifestyle reflects how thoughtful styling can provide comfort, confidence, and style, no matter the setting or time of day.
As part of my Fashion Branding module, we were tasked with designing a window display for a luxury fashion brand. I was assigned Chloé, known for its effortless elegance and feminine aesthetic. My window design concept aims to transport shoppers to a springtime setting in Paris, featuring pieces from the S/S 2025 Chloé collection. These garments, with their flowing fabrics, integrate seamlessly into the display. My design uses a soft, dusty pink and beige color palette to create a cohesive and elegant atmosphere, enhancing the sense of the Parisian Spring experience. Out of my three concepts, I chose this one as it was inspired by the WGSN trend “Layered Realities” from the Big Ideas forecast for 2025. Through my research on Chloé’s flagship stores, I noticed a lack of digital integration, something growing rapidly in retail design. Incorporating digital experiences into stores enhances engagement and transforms how consumers interact with and purchase luxury fashion products.
