Project 1: Animal Recycling

This Project brief came from the D&AD New Blood Awards. I wanted to implement my skills of illustration to make an animatic for the giffgaff brief. I wanted to develop a style that was unique to myself but also in line with the brand guidelines given to me. I enjoyed developing the wacky and expressive characters. If I had a bit more time I could develop this into a full scale animation. I’m excited to work on similar projects in the future where I can really pull a sense of movement and fun out of a project. I think the medium illustrated animation has no bounds and I’m excited to do more in the future.
