Project 2: Maia

This project was to create an entirely silent book. No words or letters or numbers in sight. This may seem like a limitation but it allowed me to explore every aspect of illustration for books and novels. The expressions of the characters, the framing, all of these important factors came into play. I decided to base my topic around student nurses, who I feel deserve so much credit for working so hard during these times. (Nurses and Doctors as well). I wanted to highlight and tell a story about the effects of stress and over-working. How it can impact people mentally and physically. This is a project I definitely intend to finish off even after college.
