My name is Emma Sidlauskas and I am a Director of Photography. I have always been interested in the visual side of cinema and how a film can perfect a blend of technical and creative elements to create a particular mood and translate a theme or message. Over the last four years, I have exclusively gravitated towards roles in the lighting and camera department. These smaller roles combined, made up the expertise I needed to improve my skills in cinematography. I am planning to do a masters at Leiden University in film and photography to further engage with the theory this course has introduced me to and set me up for a life behind the screen.
