I am a final-year film and broadcasting student. I enjoy writing comedies as it opens up fun ways to tell stories and film as a medium can be used to deliver jokes very well. Directors like Taika Waititi and Edgar Wright are inspirations for me as they use all aspects of film to tell jokes like cinematography, editing and audio and use more than just dialogue to entertain the audience. This semester I wrote and directed Robbie Rents a Room and I tried to make it as enjoyable as possible using every aspect of film.
