Jonny McCann

Jonny McCann is graduating in 2026 from the Drama Performance (Hons) course in TU Dublin’s Conservatoire for Music and Drama. He is passionate about poetry, directing, and sports including rugby and swimming as well playing football in the Leinster Senior League.  
Jonny recently played the roles of Seán McGrath and Robert Emmett in ‘The Devil May Cares’ directed by Louise Lowe. He is a baritone and played the role of Warren in the musical ‘Alice and Funderland’ directed by Andrea Basquille. He worked as a voice over artist in ‘The Song of Amergen’ directed by Liz Gill.

He has a strong interest in Shakespeare and screen acting and is a founding member of Broken Telephone Theatre company, a company with a strong focus on language and the ways we communicate.
