Meg Kathleen Hardy is a multidisciplinary performer and artist from Ratoath in Co.Meath. Due to graduate from TU Dublin with a BA in Drama Performance in 2026, she is also a trained soprano with a Senior Certificate in Musical Theatre and Popular Singing (Distinction) from the Royal Irish Academy of Music.
Last year, Meg made her professional debut performance as the Beggar Woman in the Irish Youth Musical Theatre's (IYMT's) production of Sweeney Todd in the National Concert Hall, singing live with the National Symphony Orchestra. She is a founding member of 'God That's Good Theatre' company, performing in their first musical theatre showcase in April 2026.
Meg has a particular interest in live theatre and movement practice, with a strong affinity for stage combat (with distinctions in both Unarmed and Armed combat from the IDCA) having trained for ten years in Taekwondo. She is a B.A.S.T. qualified voice teacher and has been teaching acoustic/electric/bass guitar, ukulele and piano for the last two years. She currently works part-time in the Wicklow Way Academy of Music and Arts as a music and art teacher and has previously taught in music schools in Greystones, Co.Wicklow and Ratoath, Co.Meath. She held the role of Theatre Director at Camp Robindel for Girls in Moltonborough, New Hampshire, USA in 2024, directing performances of Junior Annie and The Addams Family. Meg has a strong interest in graphic design and zine making, having organised and hosted several arts and crafts workshops. In her TU Dublin Final Year Recital she performed as Sally Bowles from Cabaret, a role she hopes to perform again in the future.
