Hiya! I’m Ella and I’m a BA graduate of TU Dublin’s Film and Broadcasting course at Grangegorman. This course has opened my eyes to the insane efforts involved in the industry to bring such a wide variety of films to audiences all over the world. In expanding my knowledge of skill and theory, my interest in working as a Production Designer and/or Scriptwriter within the film industry was solidified further. I have always had a fascination for the craft of worldbuilding in film, admiring the creativity involved in establishing aesthetics and bringing stories to life through sets, props, lighting, costume and more. I also enjoy developing stories of my own, designing characters and evolving each new plot point within a script. I’m an artistic individual who takes initiative and aims for high standards in all the work I do. I had the opportunity to work as a production designer multiple times over the four years in college, as well as have two scripts chosen for production with commendations for those placed as runner-up. In my final year I branched out with my crew role choices and responsibilities, getting involved in more of the technical and managerial areas of filmmaking.
