Mia Margaret Carroll

Hi, my name is Mia Carroll, over the past four years I have had the opportunity to work in many different fields; cinematography, sound, editing, camera operating, and directing, over the past four years I have developed an interest in the camera department and especially in being a camera operator. Through the different film sets my approach to the role has become very focused on the different techniques and opportunities that the camera offers. I am particularly interested in documentary filmmaking; I want to tell and document real life stories that reflect the human experience. I look forward to being involved in many more projects and productions and learn more about the camera and cinematography. I still have a long way to go as far as developing my skills to an even higher standard. Cinematography fascinates me and I am convinced that practice is the best way to learning more about it. So until then, I will work hard to make sure to train in that specific sector of the film industry. I’m so excited to continue developing my skills across all disciplines but especially in cinematography and I look forward to collaborating with others who share a love for insightful filmmaking. I bring creativity, liveliness, and a deep respect for the collaborative nature of this industry, and I’m looking forward to what comes next.
