My name is Liam Mac Aogáin I am a Film & Broadcasting student with a focus on drama production. I’ve adored film since I was a kid and knew from then, I wanted a career in them. I’ve always especially loved writing and this last semester I wrote and directed Tech Cemetery which I had been writing and perfecting for around 7 months. In my writing I always strive to tell new and bold stories that connect with audiences with a particular interest in Romance, Sci-fi, Drama and Comedy. One of my favourite shows is ‘Black Mirror’ and it was a big inspiration for Tech Cemetery. It is the first film I have directed so it was a big challenge but I have learnt so much about what it takes to make a film, such as leadership skills, decision-making and improvisation and most importantly the level of dedication that is needed for every part of the process. I also have an interest in cinematography, and it was something myself and the team put a lot of effort into in preproduction. Hopefully I will be writing and directing soon again, I am eager to improve on each project I commit to.
