Hi, my name is Oonagh and I’m a final year Film and Broadcasting student from Westmeath. This year, I worked on two films, Resting Place and Compliance. On Resting Place, I took on the role of producer as well as working in post sound, which was a great experience in seeing a project come together from start to finish. I really enjoyed the challenge of producing, especially the organisation and problemsolving involved in keeping everything on track. I was also drawn to post sound and the creativity it allows. Developing skills in both areas has been rewarding, and working on post sound across both films made me appreciate how much sound can shape a film. Overall, I’ve loved being involved in the diGerent parts of filmmaking and working closely with others to bring the films to life.
