I am a 22-year-old journalist, with a passion for print and audio work. I’m from Celbridge, Kildare and have one little brother, Jack, who is severely disabled. Jack inspired me to be a journalist and try to give a voice to so many that aren’t heard.
Enter Stage Right
‘Pulse’ Magazine was nominated for two Student Media awards, which I worked on throughout my final year of studies and wrote a feature length article - Enter Stage Right. Accompanying this was a four-minute audio report and a 90 second video. I interviewed two right-leaning actors, Nick Delehanty, a conservative lawyer and political influencer with a following of almost 40,000 on Instagram, and Patrick Quinlan, the first ever elected member of the National Party. For a counter perspective, I spoke to two academics who study far-right content online, and the algorithms that push their vitality, from our phone screens and into the street.
