My name is Aleks, and I am a Product Design graduate focused on solving future challenges through environmentally responsible design. Over the past four years, I have developed a strong understanding of how design impacts both people and the planet, and I believe in creating eco-friendly, repairable, and sustainable products for future generations.
During my studies, I built key skills in research, testing, teamwork, and decision-making. I designed and implemented a return scheme system on campus to support local charities, combining sustainability with social impact. I have also been actively involved in student union work and have been elected as the future VP of the city, reflecting my commitment to leadership and change. I believe design has the power to shape behavior and improve lives, and that meaningful change starts with us.
Timey is a soft, interactive teddy bear designed for young children to introduce the concept of time and the importance of staying on track with daily tasks. Through simple visuals and gentle prompts on its built-in display, the teddy guides children through routines such as getting ready, playtime, and bedtime.
Parents control and customize these routines using a connected home hub or mobile app, which acts as a shared family calendar. The system sends clear, child-friendly cues to the teddy, helping children understand what to do and when. By turning routines into a familiar, comforting interaction, Timey supports early habit formation, at an essential stage where behaviors like self-regulation and time awareness begin to develop and can shape long-term habits
