E-Quipped
E-Quipped is an indoor locking and charging rack designed for electric bikes, developed in response to a clear gap in workplace and campus infrastructure. While e-bike adoption is growing rapidly across Ireland and Europe, secure indoor storage that also supports charging remains largely unavailable, leaving commuters reliant on heavy personal locks and no safe way to charge at work. E-Quipped addresses this through a single unit combining four functions: a retractable chain lock that secures both the frame and wheel without requiring a personal lock, a lockable compartment for the user's charger and battery, a slot for your charger cable for charging the battery on-frame and a built-in mechanical timer that regulates charging duration to protect battery health.
