Hello, my name is Neil Broderick. I am a very enthusiastic journalist with a keen interest in radio and podcasting. Over the last four years I have fallen in love with sound engineering and enjoy every ounce of work that I have done to date. I have a love for golf, football, and niche hobbies such as Pokémon. I am a diligent worker and very much enjoy what I do. I enjoy expressing my opinions (to those willing to listen) and listening to people's stories.
Pokémadness is a lighthearted, happy podcast about the rise in popularity of Pokémon in Ireland and across the world. The podcast focuses on individual experiences and what Pokémon means to people. There is a massive community across the country, and I got three unique stories from people about their experiences. This is a fun podcast that covers a topic that not a lot of people know about. Pokémon has been quite popular since the late 90s and in the last year or so, it has become a global phenomenon. This was a major passion project or me and the aim of it is to get someone to say to themselves ‘maybe this Pokémon stuff is for me too'. If that does happen, I'll be a very happy person. Hope you enjoy it and thank you!
