I’m Hanna, a Product Design graduate who enjoys breaking down complex challenges into research-based design solutions. I use design as a tool to break down ideas and translate them into actionable outcomes. I’m passionate about visual storytelling as a way to communicate concepts. My work often explores mixed-media collage and 3D rendering, combining different visual languages to create expressive outcomes. My design philosophy is rooted in my personal values, with an emphasis on creating work that resonates.
Small businesses are a vital part of Dublin’s economic and social fabric, contributing to employment, local identity, and community life. However, many independent retailers face increasing pressure from rising operational costs and digital competition. Frameworks is a modular market kit supported by a digital application, designed to strengthen independent retail and encourage community engagement. The project is guided by three core principles: reducing barriers for small businesses, enabling accessible promotion, and fostering urban communities.
The system is based on a modular cube structure composed of two frames and a single surface. This adaptable geometry allows multiple configurations: a single unit functions as seating, horizontal combinations form benches, and vertical arrangements create shelving or display structures. The app connects users through shared interests, enabling them to discover pop-up events and view participating retailers, creating a platform that supports small businesses and encourages engagement with local retailers.
