The aim of this project was to create distorted imagery of body parts pressed against the glass of a photocopier. The idea of using a machine of repetition was to make images that would no longer give an exact replica. I wanted to see how far I could expand this idea by making models and imagery of human flesh. By distorting the replica, I pushed the boundaries of the human body and stretched our perceptions of reality.
