Reverberation
Reverberation is a body of work that portrays the human condition and the constantly shifting line between art and nature through gestural, minimalistic and expressive use of the medium of paint. The use of the different size canvases is meant to emphasise even more the idea of memory, time and space.
The paintings reflect a specific rhythmic of work which aims to portray the condition of the female artist, her subjectivity and the social condition where the use of plants act as a symbolic, metaphoric way of expression and open unlimited inspirational sources for artistic creativity. The paintings seek to bring to the viewer's attention to how something ordinary can be transformed into something extraordinary. Through the use of a simple subject, a double language for communication is created: one is through the specific symbolic aspect of plants and the second through the techniques used by the artist in the process of creativity.
