Lavendar Jane
There are a whole host of minority communities out there and they help make up the fabric of our city. The Transgender community in Dublin is such a minority community. I chose to celebrate the life of Lavender Jane, a 20-year-old Transgender woman from Dublin. I wanted to give her the opportunity to express her particular identity and to tell at least part of her story. The aim of my project is to straightforwardly celebrate a member of this community through photography, so that those outside of this community can learn more about it.
