Cleansing Coral

My aim was to create an amazing visual display that would be suitable for both a high-end store and a traditional Irish grocery store or supermarket such as Dunnes Stores. I deeply researched trends and colour theories, looked at clashing prints and decided to base my window off the Pantone colour of the year ‘Living Coral,’ which featured in the trend ‘Creative Manifesto’ on WGSN. The display is totally block coloured and grabs customers’ attention from all angles.

The purpose of this display is to showcase the beautiful brands that are now available at Dunnes Stores and to highlight that the store is not just ‘always better value’ but is now branching out into luxury brands. I dressed each mannequin in the Lennon Courtney SS range in store at the moment because the bold colour and clashing prints are perfectly on point with the branding. The cleaning products are a play on some of Dunnes best known products. I wanted to incorporate these everyday products and glamorise them to sync in with the luxurious brands, this combination is where my inspiration came from.
