My end of year installation was displayed in the designer rooms in Brown Thomas. My concept was designed to create an experience which connected with consumers moods and emotions. I focused on chromatherapy, as it combines colour and light to influence states of mind, whilst also evoking various emotions through design and colour.

Spaces were flooded with saturated tones to create an immersive and mood-altering environment. I wanted to create a soothing and stimulating atmosphere through the use of colour. Humans are emotional beings, and engaging with consumers needs to be about more than just economics. As my concept is driven by a desire to reconnect with things that move us both on an emotional and physiological level, I attempted to harness colour variances because of their ability to alter moods and utilised bold and vivacious brights to provide a motivating effect. Hues of fluorescent pinks and oranges were used throughout my display to energise and awaken the senses.
